How long are tuition sessions?: Each lesson is one hour long.
Are Step Up tutors trained teachers?: All of our tutors are trained and registered teachers.
At what point will my child's tuition start?: The starting point for your child will be defined after a thorough assessment by one of our consultants. This assessment will determine your child's present learning level.
How much will the initial assessment cost?: The initial assessment will be at no cost to you. Its purpose is to accurately identify the learning needs of your child and how we can best meet them.
How much do lessons cost?: The cost is $45.00 per hour for the Platinum option and $35.00 per hour for the Gold option.
How many sessions will my child need?: A personalised programme will be drawn up by the tutor. The design and duration of your child's programme will depend upon the results of the initial assessment. For children who need to attain new skills quickly, we recommend two sessions per week.
At what times are tutors available?: During school terms, tutors are available from 3.30pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays. During school holidays some tutors are available from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
Do you have a tutor in my area?: Where ever possible, we will provide you with the nearest tutor whose tutoring strengths best meet your child's needs.
How can I pay?: In Advance:
By cash, cheque, Master Card, Visa or online, for ten lessons.; Lesson by lesson:; Automatic payment starting from the first lesson.; Cheque, paid to the tutor following the lesson.; Online, paid into the Step Up account on the evening of tuition.
