Step Up is a New Zealand company operating in Christchurch and Auckland.Established in 2006, we provide quality in- home learning for students from years 1 – 13 and adult students who are not reaching their full learning potential. Research has shown that, in the average classroom, students may get at most only two to three minutes of individual attention a day.

Some students require more time to process concepts and need more teacher feedback to learn efficiently. If these needs are not met, these students often become apathetic towards school. A lack of confidence and under-achievement may result. Christchurch teacher Ralph Murray formed Step Up with these needs in mind. He was confident these problems could be overcome with a one to one programme focused on the specific needs of students.

Step Up provides a high quality home tuition service dedicated to releasing the potential of students.  We know the local conditions and our tutors thoroughly understand the New Zealand curriculum.

In the Members section, parents and students can browse the profiles of our tutors at no cost. There is also no charge to have the contact details of  tutors released, once you have decided to enter into a contract.

All our Step Up tutors are personally screened and contracted to Step Up, before posting their profiles in the Members Section.
